The Rare Goods Pit found under the Build menu under the Functional tab produces 1 Rare Good after a 24 hour count-down. It's widely considered a waste of 20 PFC since the same Rare Goods may be sent for free by Neighbors.

You may only build one Rare Goods Pit in your Empire.
